Lindsey Lennon (Director)
Lindsey alongside Andy, is a Clinical Director and Owner of Cheadle Hulme Physio. Lindsey graduated from the University of Salford in 2001 and has over 19 years experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and worked in Private Practise, Professional Sport and Occupational Health before establishing Cheadle Hulme Physio in 2012.
Lindsey has a keen interest in sport and fitness, representing Cheshire in Lacrosse as a youth, she continues to enjoy an active life and understands the restraints injury can have on this. Lindsey is dedicated to working with her patients to not only treat them but educate them about their injury and how to prevent any future injuries.
Lindsey is committed to ensuring she stays up to date with relevant CPD, Training and new developments within the Sector. She has also studied Acupuncture and utilises this to complement her manual therapy skills when treating patients.
Andy Wilkinson (Director)
Andy Qualified in 2001 from the University of Salford and is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 19 years experience of working and treating Musculoskeletal conditions. Andy Joined Lindsey in the running of Cheadle Hulme Physio in 2013. Andy has been involved in sport for many years and competed as a 400 metre runner to national standard, which, is where his interest in injury and rehabilitation began.
Andy has worked with professional athletes, premiership football and rugby players and members of the general public of all ages. Andy believes his combination of a hands on approach to treatment alongside an active rehabilitation program is the most effective in insuring sustained recovery. Over the past 19 years Andy has developed professional working relationships with a wide variety of Health Care Professionals from Orthopaedic and Neuro Surgeons, Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists and Bio Mechanists. Andy is well placed to assist you through any injury/rehabilitation process, and it is through these close working relationships and Andy’s proven track record of successful physiotherapy, that Andy and the Clinic, continue to be recommended to the public, as the place to turn to for effective and individualised treatment packages.
Andy continues to be a keen runner when not working or enjoying family life.
Joe Woodcock (Physiotherapist)
Joe graduated from the University of Salford in 2008, initially gaining a wide range of experience in all areas of physiotherapy, whilst working in both private practise and the NHS. He has furthered his knowledge through post graduate training which has included Pilates and Acupuncture. He specialised in Musculoskeletal problems working with a wide range of clients, helping them to achieve their treatment goals and optimise their potential.
outside of work he enjoys running, hiking and spending time with his young family.
Julianne Courtice
Julianne Qualified in 2013 with a First Class Honours Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University. Julianne is a Chartered Physiotherapist and began her career working for the Central Manchester Trust, where she carried out her rotations throughout the different areas of physiotherapy, before moving to private practice.
Juliane has always been a keen sportsman, which, is where her interest for sports injuries and rehabilitation started. Julianne is currently playing on the professional squash circuit alongside her physiotherapy practice. This gives her a heightened ability to understand the requirements of sports men and women of all levels and she tailors her treatment to meet their specific requirements.
Nicola Shaw
Nicola is a Specialist Chartered Physiotherapist with 20 years experience in the treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions. Nicola is a Member of the 'Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists' and utilises a Manual Therapy (MSc) approach to treatment, in conjunction with Advanced Practice assessment and diagnostic skills. Nicolas work in private practice is complemented by her current role at Stockport NHS Orthopaedic Assessment Service. Nicolas interests lie in spinal and pelvic disorders, functional rehab and she offers acupuncture as part of her treatments.
Outside of work Nicola enjoys motherhood, yoga, bootcamp, jogging and live music.
Rob Walters
Rob Graduated from Manchester University in 2010 and started his career in the NHS, working in Southport, Warrington and Manchester Hospital alongside community postings.
Over the past few years, Rob has narrowed down his physiotherapy work, to specialise in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. In addition to his work here at Cheadle Hulme Physio, Rob currently works within Occupational Health in Transport and Manufacturing Sectors with an emphasis on keeping people healthy and fit within the work place.
Rob has experience of working with people with spinal complaints, ranging from simple stiffness to complex problems, joint and soft tissue problems, and athletes from amateur to professional wishing to return to sport.
Away from work Rob enjoys running, going to the gym, socialising and spending time with his young family.
Juan Pardo (Masseur)
Juan is a Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist and a Manual Therapist.
Juan works with both acute and chronic pain and commonly treats, neck and shoulder pain, hand problems, rheumatoid arthritis and other auto-immune issues, such as, ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.
Tony Lowne (Podiatrist)
Tony Lowne is a Musculoskeletal Podiatrist. He qualified from the University of Salford in 2004 with an Honours Degree in Podiatry. He has over 20 years of post-graduate experience of NHS and Private Practice work.
He treats all levels of sports related musculoskeletal and biomechanical injuries. Tony will carryout a thorough Initial Assessment with you, which allows him to detect any abnormalities and prescribe custom made Orthotics. as a keen athlete himself, he not only understands the mechanical elements involved in treating the patient but also the psychology of the athlete in relation to the injury, recovery and rehabilitation.
He uses his professional experience to tailor specific treatments for each individual patient…
